1-12: At first, I hated Paris. Crowds gathered to watch me with my slave manservant. I went $4,000 in debt trying to entertain in grand style. Eventually, I came to regard France as my second home.

13-24: I was born in North Bend at the estate of my grandfather. As president, I signed the final Chicago World's Fair bill. However, the Fair didn't open until I no longer lived in the White House.

25-33: I attended the Washington Senators baseball opener in my third year in the White House. However, the next year, I sent my Vice-President, James Sherman (pictured at the right), as a pinch-hitter because the opener came four days after the sinking of the Titanic.

34-44: The war in Kosovo was conducted entirely by air, to produce zero U.S. casualties. When former President Nixon died, I proclaimed a national day of mourning and closed government offices.
